OK, I'll Ask again

My guess is they are controlled either by a gauge or a module, and probably coded into the panel or model somehow.

My question concerns where to place the Environmental sounds for use on the stock FSX beaver.

The sounds:
Bush
Snow
Tarman
Water

I'd suggest putting them in the main FSX Sound folder. This way, the sounds are available to any aircraft that might need them.
They'd probably be controlled from the aircraft.cfg file.

I didn't see any response to my question" See my post:

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?81565-A-very-nice-Beaver-sound

and as "Beaver Sounds" thread slides down into oblivion, I thought best strategy is to start anew with this thread,

My question concerns where to place the Environmental sounds for use on the stock FSX beaver.

I can only suggest trying to place the Aerosoft 'Sounds' Folder into your Main FSX Sound Folder and see if the Beaver can pull those Sounds from there. Methinks the Environmental Sound paths are coded into the Aerosoft Model, and use the FS 9 syntax to 'look' for the Sounds.

Hope this helps...

EDIT: Ahhh... beaten again to the punch! :p

I think you all are on to something. I know that the aereosoft PBY uses the same water floating effects as well. I have that program and tried to see where they made that happen and
didn't see any outwardly smoking gun as to how to emulate that effect. So I guess I am SOL on that one.

Thanks anyway to those that responded. It was worth a shot.
