by now, anyone who doesn't live in a vaccum knows that michael jackson is dead. this morning, i go to the weather channel to look at the radar. when i see the box where the weather news is i see the weather channel is covering it too? WTH!!!??? what does that have to do with the weather?

I have nothing against the guy, but this only proves why I don't have a TV. This is how I (and I'm sure many others) feel about the Jackson thing.

Although I do have a tv, I only (repeat ONLY) watch movies on Netflix, or Encore/Movie channels. I quit watching all network channels about 4 months ago. I have no clue what is happening in the world, and don't WANT to know. My life has been much happier ever since.

Being like an ostrich ain't as bad as it sounds.

Presently in the Philippines there is a big lawsuit scandal over a homemade porn flick featuring a popular actress and the estranged boyfriend of a well-known plastic surgeon. I've yet to figure out how this involves the legislative branch of the Philippine government but the senators are holding hearings with the people involved and their lawyers. Not even terrorist bombings in Mindanao can bump it off the news.
