Okay...so I went a little overboard!

To all,

I went a skosh nuts designing the Hawker Aircraft factory.

Here's a pic of how it ended up, one in Mission builder and the other in the air. :redf:

Ettico,

If you want the layout and make it into a GSL EuroTarget, let me know. :d

I hear you Rami.

I was populating my new Wewak scenery and before I knew it I had 750 objects laid down between the town/port and the Airdrome. In free flight it was fine about 30 FPS. But put in a few AI's and some combat and it was nasty. Needless to say it's going on a diet.

Anyone need any virtual Firewood?? I've got a few hundred trees to cut down.:costumes:

Does that cover the Kingston and Langley sites Rami? They were less than a mile from each other.

The Kingston factory is now under a housing development but there is a stone set up to say what was on the site, and the metal railings on there have a propeller motif in the design.

Framerates, believe it or not, are fine. All of the objects are multi-res. You fly over it at 12,000 feet flying as the Germans. You also defend it for the British.

Hewman, I built the factory at the location given in the CFS1 campaign. It's in a layout format, so it can be moved if need be.

The picture is flying over the target during a mission. The true test will be in beta testing. Then we shall see if it too needs to go on a diet.

The main site was close to the Thames, that was the principal reason I asked really.
