I hit weights 3 times a week...as well as swim 1 mile at least twice a week (still in the unheated pool here in November).....

I'm 51. How come I don't look like that?

(life is just not fair)

P.S. Due to an injury resulting in multiple surgeries I can no longer run, although I used to be a triathlete.
 
Trick is to start late... as soon as the flesh starts to sag, you start pumping iron.
Keep pumping and hope you expire before you get musclebound.
Starting too early means you get too much muscle, and when the flesh starts to sag, it looks as if you are standing in a wet paper bag.

This is only a theory, but you know...

Actually, I've lost over 50 pounds since you last saw me.....but it's still a tight squeeze.
