Old Shockwave planes

Flight Sim Junkie
Hi All,

I have the FS9 installes for the old Shockwave FW190, FW190D, and HE219. Does anyone have these working in FSX?

Also, I have the FS9 installer and update for the P47. Is the same as the one that they are currently selling and if so, can I just buy the accusim pack for the one I have now?

Thanks,
LouP

For Accusim, you will need to buy the WOP III P-47. The old FS9 one with the FSX native patch won't work.

It's worth every cent though!!! :medals:

here's a comparison:

looking back, I see that the old one wasn't bad at all...but I don't fly it anymore.
This is just the exterior mind, accusim is about what you don't see,
suddenly all those dials, knobs and switches become important...

Hopefully Lewis will be along here shortly or maybe Scott himself, but I do believe that accu-sim is only for FSX.

So you're going to have to change platforms if you want accu-sim.

Anyone successfully ported their Wings of Power WWII Heavy Bombers and Jets to FSX? If they work well it'll inspire me to go dig out my old FS9 discs :icon_lol:

I've had the B-24, B-29 and the PB4Y all up and flying in FSX on several occasions.

There's a few edits in the panel config and a minor bit of nav light work for the most part. Scott also posted a fix for a glass issue on the B-24.

The only thing that I never actually saw a fix for is the FS9 port prop issue.

Cheers, FAC257 ...I guess I'll give them a go then :ernae:

PS. the prop issue can probably be lessened by altering the prop texture's alpha layer.
