Hmm, been a while since we've heard about Tim's latest work in progress for FSX...

I'm guessing... Hmmm... North American YF-93? Perhaps the FJ-5? :)

But seriously, Tim, I just picked up this book, and it looks like one you'd enjoy, even if you never modeled any of the bizarre and cool planes in it: Secret Aerospace Projects of the U.S. Navy: The Incredible Attack Aircraft of the U.S.S. United States 1948-1949.

When I first saw the cover, I thought this was a fantasy book, but it's actual proposed "futuristic" planes for what would have been the world's largest aircraft carrier.

Check out the customer images on the Amazon pages. This stuff looks like 50's sci-fi material, but it was actually proposed for service.

Truly cool book. Rare I run into anything I've never heard of in 40-ish years of being an aerospace fan. And a bunch of truly peculiar planes.
