One for the kiwis: RNZAF Kingair coming up!

Hi folks!

RNZAF operates five Beech 200 King Airs (designated as NZ 1881 - 1885):

I'd like to deliver a little upgrade to this fleet, consisting of a B300 Super King Air model, to be designated as 1886 (fictive).

This repaint bases on the awesome freeware Allied FS Group (AFG) Beech Kingair 300.

Current status:

Will be up soon!

Cheers,
Markus.

Beautiful work as always....you don't happen to have the Aeroworx KA200 in the paint shop for a similar treatment ???

There is a growing band of us Aeroworx King Air owners wondering this very thing...I am canvassing painters of that model to come to the party - it would be a brilliant aircraft to have.

Not to detract from this paint...nicely done Markus.
It's quite a challenging job, and you have the grey pretty much spot on now!

Very well done, Markus! I like the idea of an upgraded Kingair with a fictional RNZAF number - I'm in full agreement with that! Look foward to adding the repaint to my AFG Kingair, thanks for doing this paint, excellent job.

Thank you all for this kind feedback! :wavey:
I must admit that those tapering and curving cheat lines were quite a challenge.
I'm not absolutely satisfied with the result yet, but it's the best I can perform right now. Glad you like it!

If anyone likes to take over the job for the Aeroworx Kingair which I don't possess, I'd gladly provide the double-sized (4000 px wide) layer set for the fuselage to start upon. Just drop me a line!

Cheers,
Markus.

Just sent.

Phew - this was a pig of a repaint.
But it's done and should be available soon.

With a lot of help from the nice fellows over at nzff.com, this one comes as close to the real thing as a 'semi-fictional' repaint within the restrictions of my skills can come!

Judge on your own:

It was also tested with FSX (SP1) and works fine too (not tested with Acceleration):

:applause::applause::applause:

Hard work, much appreciated.
Psst, Markus: if you set the date at Wanaka to April 15,16, or 17...you get the airshow!
