i dont know much about the older planes..is this a waco?..looks good.
Same here Daveroo. When it comes to this airframe and those very similar, they all become Stearman's, lol. To those who are into the Bipes there are obvious differences but generally, they all look the same to me.

It's either a Stearman or a Tigermoth in my book Falcon ;-)

Great looking model Francois and Simon :applause:

I'll take a guess after a bit of digging - is it a Laird LC-RW 450 or similar? Can't say for sure because the engine cowling and front cockpit look a little different...

Certainly a rare bird!

I'd say that's a WACO. Look at the logo on the vertical stabilizer.

Nice - Simon is a terrific modeler - can't wait to see these beauties...will there be a Taperwing?
I'm really interested in a native Waco Taperwing for FSX

Not planned. but we'll have another kind of Waco in the skunk works....

Well whatever it is - it will be welcome and since you posted this news and mentioned Simon - I decided to retrieve the Ultimate Bipe he made some while back for FSX - freeware - and a beauty

A real fun flier that looks superb inside and out! and the link is right on this page in the aircraft freeware list or here: <style type="text/css"><!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--></style>http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=142870
