Let me be the first to request.

Recently I have been looking for a scenery that has disappeared off the face of the earth. I finally gave up. It is Christchurch/Canterbury NZ photoreal. If anybody has it and can email it to me or post it somewhere for download I would greatly appreciate it.

You live in a small world! :icon_lol: Might this be it at Flightsim.com?

I'm also looking for a Hamner NZ scenery by the same folks.

The area is tourist attraction featuring such activities as skiing, snowboarding, among other things, and is famous for its spas and health resorts. By Lawrie Roache.

Nice try but wrong sceneries. The correct ones are for fairly large areas and are about 200 meg each. Neither are at flightsim or avsim. There are links at Snowman's and the freeware list but all go to nzscenery that was closed down. I wrote to the webmasters and asked but there are no new links and I think they discontinued the ones they had after I reported the dead ones. I've done google searches to no avail. HOWEVER, just a little while ago Ian Warren at the New Zealand forum said he would snail me a disk with them on it! Very nice of him. I'll look at the eulas and if no problem I'll share. New Zealand is a very beautiful place to fly.

I always try to help out the fellow simmer when searching. Some time it does nothing but waste time, sometimes it pays off. It's always nice to get assistance from other members.

Sounds as if your searching was beneficial :wavey:

Yep. I'm the same way and help when I can. Especially when it's a fellow Washingtonian. :icon_lol:

Tried both of those Pete (the first one, the old Walhalla site, is always my first stop when looking for scenery), and all the links at the Snowman site (including recent links given on the forum) are dead. Very frustrating.
