Ok...this matter of credits. If I modify an individual's or group's model files (aircraft, weapons, etc.) or make repaints I must have their permission to upload them is this correct? Does this include original MS files? I am never clear on this....

No, you just have to mention it in the readme in this particular case.

Repaints uploaded as stand-alone models without permission will cause offence. If you're doing a repaint, just upload the new skin and say which model it's for.
