"Opening Day" pics + carrier "ops"

Yesterday was the San Francisco Giants home opener, so of course there was a flyover. It was a pair of Super Hornets from VFA-122 "Flying Eagles" from -I now quote the public address speaker- Lemoore Air Force Base. Last I checked, it was a Naval Air Station, and the USAF did not fly Super Hornets. I repecated the event on the way to the carrier just outside the Golden Gate.

Nice pictures, I can see that little kid that threw out the first pitch. Really fun stuff.
