• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

One of the less advantegous aspects about growing old is that each year it gets harder to see the smaller things on the computer screeen. Especially the written word in higher resolution settings, even the mandatory 1024x768

So I've set my DPI to Large, which is 120 under the Settings>Advanced in the Display Properties.

Problem is that when I then fire up OFF the Opening screen doesn't display properly ie the bottom tool line with all the clickable links doesn't show.

Any fix for this? Cheers. :)

I think I remember a sticky or a FAQ that dealt with this - unfortunately, I think the solution was to return your font to normal size. But to be sure, one of the Dev Team will have to help you.

Just the other night, I was watching Final Countdown, which a have on DVD
In one particular scene, 2 Japanese Zero's are spotted on the horizon, as 2 black specs. The people in the film spotted them, I knew where they were there, from previous viewings. But I'll be Damned if I saw them, I replayed the scene, 3 more times on purpose, even slowed down the FPS. Never saw them

TIME MARCHES ON . . . .or in my case it RUNS :costumes:

Just for those who are so afflicted, yet enjoy flying OFF

My method is to leave my TAC up . . as a pre-warning of enemy activity.
When the enemy is spotted, TAC off, Labels Hot . . . PARTY TIME

Works for me !!

Lets hope then that the new interfaces for 'Between Heaven and Hell' resolve the issue.

Hopefully it's not too big a deal as font size isn't an issue with either CFS3 or MAW.
 
Yep Phase 3 will support 120 dpi setting too (so 90 or 120).
