The Operation Sea Lion campaign package has six separate self-contained packets.
The “Operation Sea Lion” mission set is an eighteen mission linear campaign featuring combat in the Bf-109e and Bf-110c over the English Channel, the region of Kent, the south coast, the west, and London from late June until late September.
The “Operation Sea Lion - Jagdgeschwader” mission set is a collection of sixty-three fighter and fighter-bomber missions that is an amalgam of the three linear fighter campaigns included in this package to formulate a single, dynamic campaign using both the Bf-109e and Bf-110c. These missions feature combat over the Channel, the region of Kent, the south coast, the west, and London from early June until late September. With the campaign being dynamic, you will not fly all of the missions, only a large portion of them that will change each time you fly it!
The “Operation Sea Lion (Bf-109e)” mission set is a twenty-five mission campaign featuring fighter combat in the Messerschmitt Bf-109e over the Channel, the region of Kent, the south coast, the west, and London from the middle of July until the middle of September.
The “Operation Sea Lion (Bf-110c)” mission set is a twenty-mission campaign featuring combat and bomber missions in Messerschmitt Bf-110c “Zerstorers” over the English Channel, the region of Kent, the south coast, the west, and London from the middle of July until the middle of September.
The “Operation Sea Lion (Stuka)” mission set is a twenty-mission campaign featuring shipping attacks, as well as strikes on port facilities and RAF airfields in Junkers Ju-87 Stuka dive-bombers over the Channel, the South coast, and the region of Kent from late June, though July, and into mid-August, before they were withdrawn from the battle.
The “Operation Sea Lion - Kampfgeschwader” mission set is a twenty-nine mission campaign featuring combat in a Heinkel He-111, Dornier Do-17z, and Junkers Ju-88 from the prelude of the Battle of Britain up through the major assault on Royal Air Force airfields, and the shifting of priorities to attacks on London and other cities during the early part of September. The campaign then follows through the rest of September, and ends with a series of “Blitz” missions flown by the Luftwaffe at night up to the end of 1940.
If you install the full campaign you will fly portions of all the fighter missions, but you can also choose to install and fly each campaign individually.
