Orbx Releases YSCB - Canberra

Orbx is pleased to announce the release of YSCB Canberra Airport, gateway to the Australian Capital City. The political heart of the nation lies in a unique territory almost half-way between Sydney and Melbourne. Like most national capitals, Canberra has a very high transient population of policitians, lobbyists, public servants and the many corporations which are vying for government business. That makes YSCB a very busy airport indeed, and if you factor in that there's GA and commercial operations plus a RAAF Base (FBO of the Prime Minister's government B737) it can be a hectic place to visit. The Orbx version of this airport has been developed by Hugh Johnston of YCNK Cessnock fame, and he has produced a truly wonderful scenery with lots of atmosphere. Additionally, Orbx's FTX CityScape Canberra (available seperately in 2011) is designed to directly connect to the airport scenery to create a huge photoreal area covering the entire metro area.

Airport imagery in 15cm/60cm per pixel
Made with thousands of photos taken onsite
Includes GA area and RAAF Base Fairbairn
Full GA AI traffic support using Orbx FTX AU Traffic
Uses aerial imagery taken in late 2009
Includes new roadworks and expansion works
Fyshwick industrial estates on approach
Factory outlet malls also modeled
Includes 50km sq of photoreal imagery
