ORBX Tipella Is Out!

Hi Daube:

Excellent screenshots; I really like the graphical effects in those pics! :icon_eek:

Would you be so kind as to tell us: what video card did you use ?

Also, was post-processing of images applied, and/or was SweetFx used to generate the original images ? :ques:

Thanks for sharing your flight ...and your insight !

I'm using an old NVidia GTX480. My FSX is set to run in DX9 mode only, and I use the ENB bloom, with the "Sunlight" preset from the REX forums. These presets are were my nice colors are coming from :)

Ok, I have read all of the posts in this thread. Although Obrx PNW is mentioned several times, is it required to use the Tipella scenery?

Thx, NC

I have tried it without PNW and not all of the Tipella scenery is acturally shown, i.e. One of the logging cabins with a ramp is on high ground. That is why I ordered the PNW
program (should arrive tomorrow). Somehow, the basic PMW allows you to see humans and their animation in the Tipella scenery. Glad I took advantage of the discount sale
on the PNW program.

Hey Ted, I notice you didn't blow up the boat in the pics. I'm still laughing at the jeep chase scene.

Just a HU for everyone. PNW needs to be installed for CBB7 to work. The stock FSX shorelines are not truly representative of the actual Harrison Lake terrain. ORBX PNW shorelines/rivers/lakes are much more detailed. The docks, log booms and water objects will appear in the water using installed PNW but on shore in stock FSX.

Love all the videos and screens.
