Ordering

Didn't want to clutter up Winder's thread with this.
First, so far, I'm really impressed with the ordering procedure and follow up emails from Avangate. They seem very professional up front.:woot:

Now for the question which may or may not be known. For those of us on the correct side of the pond :icon_lol: (couldn't say left could I?) will they be shipped from a North American location or from Europe?

Thanks cpirrmann - can't answer that one logically it should be from wherever is nearest but who knows for various reasons could come from the other location.

As per the order page, Questions like this, re delivery etc contact the supplier, that's what we pay them for :)
 
I remember it being mentioned that there would be various 'hubs' where the game could be sent from. Interested to know if there is one in the Pacific (e.g. -Australia) or will I be waiting for something to come from the 'od Dart or that other place called USA?
 
That was when we considered sending DVDs ourselves.
We are no longer doing that. The supplier has two main shipping points -one in Europe one in USA.
 
Thanks Pol, nice to know. By the way, movie 11 is great. Sure gets the juices going. Love the bit at 3:46 where the albatros comes in at break neck spped. classic.
 
Thank God we went with a publisher. It was one thing to spend a lot of nights building the game, my wife would have shot me if I had to fill DVD orders.

Amen, especially with the response you're already getting. Burning each individual copy would have been madness.

BTW: My personal heartfelt congratulations on a job well done Otto. It's been a pleasure to know you all these years - I can only imagine the level of satisfaction you and the team must be feeling right now. :applause:

About the same as a certain guy I know that is dating the girl of his dreams.... leaving a crappy job... Grad school... etc... ;)
