Update: found that the software is compatible with Vista and 7 on the site which I missed because I didnt read the F/Q part of the site. I have been getting an install error at the end of the install that states my installer package needs update. I am installing under adminstrator as it says on the site with still no luck. I have the latest windows installer package which I believe is 4.5. Now Im downloading each package seperately so theres no chance of curruption. If anyone has any insite on what Im doing wrong or missing advise.

Again thanks,

Creeps

can anyone tell me if Prepared2.0 is supported by Vista64 bit. I of course purchassed it and only after the fact that I realized that my install error which says I need a new windows installer package when Im currently running 4.5 keeps giving me an error. I looked over the website and it says W7 I see nothing for Vista64.

If anyone can shed some light on this I would appreicate it alot.

Might be getting myself another Xmas gift early.

Creeps.

It's my understanding, and this is off the P3D site, ver2 is not compatible with XP or Vista.

Thanks for the quick reply. I went back to the site and found the ver 1.4 is compatible not the 2.0.

That explains alot.

Thanks again Falcon,

Wow... I didn't know it did not work in XP. That's big news to me. Glad I changed over to W7 recently or I wouldn't be able to run it.

Please note you need a DirectX 11 graphics card. If your graphics card 'hardware' isn't DX11, it will not run right; lots of crashes.

Actually, it will run on any WinXP v3 that has also had the DX10/11 runtimes installed. However, it is totally unsupported by the P3D team and the performance is truly horrific. :frown-new:
