Nope, not on your life. I gladly sacrifice a Cheesehead and a Packers jersey to Tom Brady and Pat the Patriot every year before the opening kickoff. I also burned those clothes when I returned to Boston. :p87:

A flightsim / SOH booth sounds like a great idea! Lockheed had flight simulator at Oshkosh for their new T50A jet trainer. Everytime I went by I peeked inside, but that line of people waiting was too long for me. I'm sure a SOH booth with some simulators would be an attraction. Maybe then people wouldn't fall asleep during those boring non-warbird show performances, Tom hear me (happended to me, too)???? :)

Thanks for those Rami, flying in the Tri-Motor must be as close to raw aviation as paying passengers get these days. I have a shade over 14 megapixels to play with, but Roger is obviously using something I need to use more - a tripod. 'Specially when using the tele zoom at full stretch! I notice y'all use a big aircraft wing the way we do in the UK, as an alloy umbrella. :biggrin-new:
 
They worked these two Trimotors very hard, they were constantly in the air all week. Amazing performance for such an oldtimer. From me, too, thanks to Rami for the photos. I'm sure you loved that ride. Next time I'm in 'kosh I'll go for a ride, too!

Great photos and stories, guys!

I think the Tri-Motor operations surprise a lot of first-timers for how much they are used - with the exception of non-flying hours, they are hardly ever on the ground throughout the week. The EAA's Tri-Motor has actually recently just come off of an extensive overhaul: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDBQxVTfsao

The other Tri-Motor that EAA is currently using, due to the demand, is on loan to them from the Liberty Aviation Museum (which also has another Ford Tri-Motor under restoration to fly, in addition to the B-25 "Georgie's Gal" and TBM Avenger they operate).

We did that at airshow in Tauranga, a weekend airshow, had a NZFF tent, many come from all over New Zealand, it was a great weekend with peoples from all over the country. Thanks for sharing your photos and stories.. Brilliant :encouragement:
