Indeed, these are beautiful photographs.

While there are lots of excellent pictures on it, there are lots too that make me think "boring...that's like # 3582 of that aircraft, from the very same angle, in nearly the same light, with the same composition, and even without any panning". Especially prop aircraft...

I photograph prop aircraft with shutter speeds between 1/160 and 1/250. Sometimes you just see some which are clearly taken at 1/500 or higher, making the aircraft look like a static brick in the sky :rolleyes:, without any prop blur...
 
This could be a very long thread - there are thousands of worthy pics to post on it. :ernae:
