OT: Another visit to Yorkshire air Museum

Looks like a good trip Jeff! Do they have the Halifax's bomb bays open? I had a trip to Hendon after Christmas and the Lanc's bay is hugely impressive. I'd like to see what the in-wing bays for the Halifax look like.
 
Agreed, Clive - those shots of the (12779/41-pattern it looks like!) watch office are very interesting! You must have had a fantastic time! The sacrifices one is called upon to make in the line of duty...

Last year My wonderful wife paid for me to have a tour around the Halifax, (see here) but I can't ever recall seeing the bomb bays open, but I'll go back over my photos to check.
