Supposed to be a 50th anniversary celebration of the comic/cartoon character Asterix.

Used to read the Asterix comics in Dutch when I was with the Belgian Navy.
 
No that's not real, no way to keep all those trails in place for that length of time with that depth and also maneuver the aircraft so intricately (in fact it looks a little jerky towards the end).

However, the Patrouille de France are a great team to watch.

I grew up with Asterix books as a kid in England, very amusing stories in a comic strip format. The various character names are very inventive too and you can tell the nationalities by the various name endings, if you never read any of these you're missing out.

I only have the FSX 2007 version which is different to current one.
