I have watched these with great enjoyment, I would like to share this with those who may not know of these specials by the BBC..

This one I found very interesting telling how the germans and the Fw 190's caused big problems for the RAF when encountered in 1941..
And the footage of the Spits and Luftwaffe aircraft is wonderful ..
All enjoy,

I was surprised the lady was mistakenly carried aloft for the ride atop the empennage of that spitfire! And didn't fall! Really the Brits went through alot during the conflict.

Good video. Thanks for finding it.

It continues to be a great story of both the airplane and the courage and grit of the Brits.

By the way, did you notice the closing music???

Yes these videos on the BOB, are great..
I do enjoy hearing from the Brits who lived through all of this..
God Bless them all...

And thanks to the stupid actions of the Axis powers, England ended up Not being alone..

As the great, Mr Churchill said upon hearing that germany had declared war on america..
" WE ARE SAVED!!"
Even Winston knew as soon as the americans showed up England would be saved..
Thank God...:salute:
