Anybody knowing anything about CombatAce being down? I noticed it yesterday.

Me neither, for the last 24 hrs at least. They must've gotten clobbered... Hope they can get it back soon.

Over at http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3392330/combatace_forums_down.html, OFF developer Polovski said he was told a server update went badly. It says there that they are back up but I just tried it and got nothing, so it may have gone south again.

Talk about spin, crash & burn! I haven't seen a site go down this long for quite a while!

I commented two days ago on Combat Ace being down ,also at the time FlightSim was down but back up now. I'ts right on the homepage of SOH ,left side ,guess no one cares about me.

I might have seen it, but when I come here I jump right into the CFS3 forum. And as of this morning (7:30 AM EDT, USA), I still can't connect. Can anyone else? Do I need to clear my browser cache or something?

OFF Forums permanent move

For any who post in both places, the OFF people have decided that the new permanent home will be at SimHQ, not CombatAce. It's a shame, but CombatAce is STILL unavailable. They must have gotten clobbered royally.

Thanks, hairyspin! Yeah, that is now a tough choice. Combat Ace is allows avatars and images in your signature, and feels more comfortable than the new "digs", but eye candy like that costs bandwidth.

It must have been a tough call for the devs, what, with a new release just two weeks away! Seriously, though, that was a l-o-o-ong outage! I can hardly blame them for needing to do something... unfortunate, though.
