Dear Mr & Mrs Mod.

I know you are aware of the thread subsription problem, but I'm being subscribed daily to more and more threads across the forums at SOH that I've never seen, this includes threads that are in your private moderation forum. While I can't access the latter, the emails I receive still contain the body of the individual posts.

Is this a problem that is being worked on? I only ask because I'm close to turning off email notification for replies, which I really count on for updates to threads I'm interested in.

Thanks Nick C....We think Ickie has this fixed.....

Go ahead and chech the threads that you want notified of,and let us know if it happens again please....:applause:
 
I'll monitor it over the weekend and let you know, all clear so far though, thanks for your time.

I notified Ickie and he may be working on it as to why the second one happened... Maybe???

Basically it happened in the crash
and when the forums were reset
the subscribed threads were not
confusion i know
im not sure there is a fix
Ickie is doing his best
if it realy bothers you you can always un subscribe to threads
its the same thing as this post was edited by
you will see that a lot also
the only true fix would be wipe the forums clean and start affresh
new registration and all
and i know i dont want that
and im sure many others do not also
so please bear with us
