OT: Going to California for the holiday

Well guys I will miss our little group here. My wife and i are going out to visit the family in the Long Beach, California area. I will be gone until the beginning of December. I always get decent intil from here.

leaving on Friday, so If i don't stop in before then just wanted to tell everyone Good luck, Good Hunting and Gods speed. keep your nose up and your wings strait. and never fly in a strait line for more then 30 seconds. You never know I might just jump your six.

Have a safe trip. I haven't been to Long Beach for quite a while. The Spruce Goose was still there if that gives you any idea of how long it's been.
 
Well - we saw Long Beach from the air, the other week, flying into LA on our way to Vegas.Spent 1 1/2 weeks doing the usual-Death Valley,London bridge (which my wife used to walk over as a girl in London - said it was strange seeing it in the Arizona desert) riding Harleys down route 66 and then, the Grand Canyon - thats definitely worth a week in itself!

I was BORN in Long Beach [back when Dirt was NEW] and lived near the Seal Beach weapons station in the mid-80s.

Make sure you get to the Sunset Grill in Sunset Beach EARLY ~ their omlets are to die for ~ and have a dusk walk on the Seal Beach Pier....
