Today I took my private pilot check ride, and needless to say, I knocked it out of the park!

The examiner said I was the best check ride he's had in 5 years :)

SO EXCITED!

Congrats. You'll never forget it.

35 years ago tomorrow I got mine. Treat it as a license to learn.

cheers,
steve :wavey:

Congratulations!

The only difficulty now is splitting income between real and simulated flight.

Well done mate. As much as I like flight simming, it's in a different league to the real thing.

This is just great! Congratulations and Happy Landings!

I am just five hours short of my check ride and hope to be posting a similar message soon, if weather permits.

I don't think there is a better feeling in the world when it comes to personal satisfaction than earning that PPL! Congrats Amigo

Thanks guys!

The hardest part honestly was getting clearance from the TSA (I'm Canadian), and waiting for the weather to allow for the checkride (I was scheduled for Nov. 17th, and wasn't able to take it until Dec. 9th)

Thanks again everyone!

Regards, Diego

Way to go Diego! Very jealous as I am stalled on 15 hrs in the logbook and at the current rate - and current spouse - may not get my PPL unti 2020!!

You'll get there soon enough!

I was very fortunate during my Private training:
