OT: I-16 Images

YEAH let me rephrase that mate..A massive thanks you from me, TBH, I didn't have the bottle to download and try this and if it wern't for you I'd have missed a good time ... the VC is well for a port from god knows when, great ...I beg of you...I beg of you, repainers give this the photo treatment all us Accel/sp2 users need! All she needs is external textures befitting our sim.. heres some shots from a freshly installed FSX/ACEL with REX2.. (don't ask Virus problem completely unelated to the sim lately thus the reinstall!!)

Actually Peter, this was a much anticipated project from Crashwoody for FS9 and we drooled over every update he posted and surprisingly. . .it would appear that no one on the FSX side of the ocean knows anything about it, lol. Aside from you, no one even made mention of the fact that I had posted pics of a relatively new product (done in late July). Glad you're enjoying it.
 
Mate I owe you big style..sorry I got the author wrong tho, I really love the I-16 and it certainly deserves a place here..so I thank you very much sir!!:ernae:
I just wish we had some more external textures for her though!!

One more thing ..... she's little, she's full of power and she's fun lol, I think its the same engine as the An2 in this thing more or less (You know the Russians they never change anything if it ain't broke)..She's got lots of torque it outclimbed the Bf 109C during the Spanish civil war, believe it or not, plus it had the biggest guns of its day 2 x 20mm cannons and it was the first mono-plane with a retractible undercarrage too, even if you did have to wind it up by hand lol, you can see the lever in the vc on the right hand side!
