OT: i guess,,,,,looking for an old tv show,need help?

back in the late 90s...1996 to 2000...i know this because it was in the time period i lived in my folks garage....:kilroy: USA network had a show on that was one of thier own productions..it was set in New Orleans..had a (ahem) sexy guy as a real cool PI who allways got into trouble and then was able to get himself out of the trouble...he always had some sexy women with him..he had a sidekick..but i dont remember much about him..its been drivng me nuts to remember....i watched it religously..but cant remember the name....it was on at the same time as a show called silk stockings...or silk stalkings...cant remember if it was the pun or not...

anyone got a clue???.... id like to see if it made it to dvd..but without a name to go by....

I think that you just won the big Cuppie Doll. I had thought of the " Big Easy" but i only remembered the movie and didn't know it was a TV series.
