Home for tea and tiffin!
OT: Jubilee Yorkshire Air Museum on Sunday this Jubilee weekend

This Sunday the museum are holding one of their Thunder Days where they run up the engines of all the aircraft that are capable of it and some may taxi too. There will be a rolling programme of engine start ups of several of aircraft, such as the WWI SE5a bi-plane, the De Havilland Devon twin prop, plus the ‘big jets’ with the Blackburn Buccaneer, Nimrod MR2, and Victor tanker to provide some real noise! For the Queen's Jubilee a BBMF Spit will do a flyover (is it wrong of me to with they'd sent a Hurri instead!), more unusually they also have the Canoldir Male Choir from Birmingham drop in to provide a memorial tribute in song to our Armed Forces, and raise funds for the Allied Air Forces Memorial through donations at the end of the day. Piccies will of course follow next week.
