• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

OT: Jumbo Hotel

Wherever that is I want the cockpit lounge one...Very cool indeed....:jump:

Well it requires a trip to Sweeden..COOL

How much is 3300 SEK I wonder....LOL

Guess thats moot point after flying to Sweeden....:rapture:

That is too cool.

I have always dreamt of a cottage made out of a 737. I think that would be too cool. But a 747, man, that would be a huge mantion!

Imagine the full head room cargo hold, which is the entire lower deck. Then the 3rd story command deck. Not to mention the winding stairway and built in elevators....

What a cool thing that would be.

We had old DC-2 used as Café, now that was interesting :jump:

It reminds me of an article I once read. If I recall it correctly, a 747 (I think) crash-landed in a forest but remained largely intact (just sans wings). The wreck remained there for years until a lady grabbed it, fixed it up, and made it her home.

I'd actually love to live in a big jet reconditioned like that. :icon_lol:

Yeah, I remember someone both retired 747 with her credit card and made three houses out of the parts in to middle of desert or something.
