OT : Let's See Some User Mugshots

1. Photo On Left: That's me on the right. Ron Williams, on the left, is the pilot.

2. Photo on Right: That's me in the front with the BIG GRIN! Still got it!

The star of the photos is a beautiful Waco YMF5 built in 1988 to the exact plans of the 1930's vintage aircraft!

Some great photos in here. He He snap on the Sprint photo Martin, this ones from a little earlier on in construction.....I'm on the far side, pretending to be attaching the instrument panel or summint.

I never did like having my picture taken, the first one is back in 1980, the second is prince andrews wings parade, I will leave you to guess which one is me!

First one is me on my birthday two years ago. My wife bought me some stick (yoke) time.
Second pic is from a few years ago at Oshkosh going up in one of the Breezy's.
Third pic is from Labor day two years ago. Pioneer Airport right behind Wittman in Oshkosh.
Fourth pic is from Two years ago. Packer-Bear game. That's my wife Linda.

I'm the guy on the right standing next to my Hummer. The picture was taken right after the cease fire during Desert Storm. It looks like it's a night shot, but it was just after midday. The darkness came from all the oil well fires.

Nowadays, I just do what a student does...:costumes:

Pictures? Like some, I have no recent photos. This was taken in August, 1991, on USS Nimitz (CVN-68). Tiger Cruise. We were making our approach to Bremerton, WA, as you can see by the lovely weather! That civilian is my older brother! I like this picture. My brother wanted a photo of us together, and asked another tiger cruise civilain walking by to shoot it. I still look the same today, more or less, hehe!

Brings back so many memories brother, was in the same vicinity, probably even drove by each other at some point, I would have been in an LVS Wrecker or the M936 Wrecker, the "Darkness at Noon" is what I called it, thought the world was coming to it's end. Great shot, will have to get a scanner so I can put all my shots on. :friday:

Well guys - that's what I prefer to do when not working, flight simming or 'being-helpful-in-that-household' stuff:

Riding around with some strange railroad engines!

This neat thingy is powered by an hungarian one-cylinder motorcycle motor. We restored it two years ago. Speeds up to 50 km/h - that's what those cool glasses are for...

How cool!

What railroad line is that?

Could be interesting to draisine your way through the Havelland...haven't been there in ages!

Here's a few more......

The Chipmunk photo at max res is on my desktop and has to be one of my favourite photos. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time!!

The funny looking twin finned aeroplane is the world's sole surviving Chrislea SkyJeep, one of three built in Exeter, Devon in the late 1940s. One went to Uruguay and survived until the 1970s (as far as we know), one went to Indo China and well probably got 'lost' a few years later and this one went to Australia where it had a number of accidents before being delivered back to this country for restoration.

Pete, that T-6 is a blast to ride in isn't it? I had my first ride in one back in the 70s. Rode with a Canadian fella from over in Cornwall, Ont. that new his stuff.... and tried his darnedest to get me sick. Couldn't do it, , even with me hanging in the rear seat straps downside up. I had no parachute or cushion to sit on. :costumes:

My turn.... this is a two for one shot... taken about four years ago

I'm the big guy in the blue t-shirt.
The guy in the red is Chris, AKA Railrunner-130 :rapture:
