OT: Lost squadron of pickled spitfires found (looks legit?).

Paul, it is indeed legit - there has actually also been a couple of other threads about this, on this forum alone, as of Saturday when the news first broke. It sounds like what is there will begin to be un-earthed in 3-4 weeks. Good for Mr. Cundall and the Boultbee Flight Acadamy (group that is funding the recovery), that this is finally going forth/coming to fruition after more than a decade of persistence.

Edit: There is even mention on another board, with some good confirmation, as to the specific Mk.XIV's these are, down to each individual manufacturer/serial number. Of course, only time will tell for sure.
