Awful news Owen, and I was just looking out of our window at the rain and thinking what bad weather. We don't know what bad weather is over here, luckily.

Thinking of you mate.

Hi Owen

That is really bad news, but I'm glad none in your family got badly hurt!

Bust of luck to you and your family!

Cheers

Owen: Just tuned in here.

Knowing someone who's in the middle of this stuff makes it somehow more real.

It's hard to imagine the power of a tornado without having been through one or seen the aftermath.

Best to you and yours as you dig.

Sounds dreadful. I always said you were wrong to leave the Valley!

Hope everyone's all right and things are beginning to sort themselves out by now...

My family is all safe, Thank God, Ezell ky, (their home)along with West liberty ky my Home, is all gone..
it is hard to put into words what has taken place here..
Everywhere you look some much destruction, 1974 I thought I had seen the worst in Xenia oh
But this has left me speechless..
And heartbroken..
These shots are from a airplane from Salyersville Ky This town also was hit hard..
The kind soul who took these has given them out to all who want copies..

These are of West Liberty, My Hometown or at least what is left of it..
Heading back to Ezell ky, and trying to make some sense of all of this..

Homes can be rebuilt, people can't, so I'm glad to hear the family survived. Our best wishes to them all!

Orcs!....Behold!...they ride "WHIRLWINDS"!

Those pics do reveal the power of their devastation Owen. Just a grim reminder
what happened here to Joplin.

My Lord, where do you even start with such widespread destuction? Glad to hear yor family is safe. Take care of them & you. Are their homes, etc ok, or did I miss something? Must be a lot of shocked & grieving people around. Prayers for all.

Best,

Tom
