OT: NOT the right way to end your driver's test ...

Unbelievable. Don´t the driving instructors have a brake (and a clutch) pedal in the US?

After a while you ought to get used to mechanical side of driving, and the driver (or should I say passenger) was surprisingly a male.

Usually the most interesting said are those aren´t said loud. My initial assumption, based on my stereotypical view on Americans' driving style - he was probably sending text messages and shaving his beard at the time of the crash. :icon_lol:
 
An interesting possible legal question arises. He had passed his test and so was considered a competent driver at the end of the test. They then revoke his licence following the accident. If the accident had happened the following day or for that matter anytime afterwards and away from the DMV, would they have revoked it then? Doubtful imho. What it boils down to is, it was just an accident no more no less and the location should not matter.
The other aspect to consider is the competency of the examiner in ruling that he had passed his test. Clearly the driver was not competent in this case. Perhaps the State need to look at their drivers ed program.
In my next incarnation I am going to be a lawyer and make a packet. Win, lose or draw they win. lol

In most (I think all) States, you take your actual drivers test in your own or another personal vehicle.

Only the Drivers Ed cars (Mostly in high school) have the brake pedal on the instructors side.

This is what I had for a Drivers Ed car... a 77 Plymouth Grand Fury, Police Interceptor.

Except that it was medium blue and didn't have lights on the roof. If you could parallel park that beast, you could parallel park anything.
