hotos of Mosquito @YAM on Dehavilland Weekend

A weekend to celebrate the work of Dehavilland using the museum's exhibits. The Nimrod was opened to allow visitors to look in side, the Mosquito NFII was bought out side and was shown with all the covers on for the first time for ages. The Heron ran its engines up and did a short taxi. Other aircraft were pulled out of hangar too which allowed visitors to get around the other hanger exhibits and see them from normally hidden angles. Unfortunately they were unable to run the Mossies engines as hoped, due to parts shortage. The BBMF Spitfire flypast was thrilling as it lined up o the control tower on flew low over it!
