i'm about to set to work on the scheme for the IRIS/DSB Hawk so that should keep me busy :icon_lol: text under canopy front is 'FLT LT TOM SAUNDERS' then below it 'CINDERS'

'Cinders' is the pilot this year...

they've just added the blueprints to a model, thats no paint. mine i'm going freehand and hand drawing :icon_lol: that and i'm doing it as profile art afterwards... gonna be a busy month for me (Repaint a day or so, profile.... figure 400+ hours work) :icon_lol:

well it's now 0351GMT and i have just started to make some headway with the skysim hawk paint so without further ado i introduce XX307 WIP image :ernae: lot of refining to do yet...

anyone know where i can find the tail crest? i think it's 4FTS but i've not turned up a thing...
 
That is smart looking! I bet Dino's Goshawk would look good in the same colors. Or the L-39 Albatros.
 
There will be 2 Hawks being painted up in that scheme XX263 and XX220, i was going to do some hand paints myself but no need now ;) , look forward to them!!!!

That is a nice paint scheme. Just went to their website. They've got the 2009 display maneuvers listed and a nice power point presentation detailing them. I'm going to have to try this one out when you get the paint done.
