OT: RW Glider pilots

Are there any real world glider pilots who are members here? Can you either post here or send me a PM...pretty please. :wavey:

I wish I could help you Nick but it's been 37+ years since I last did any RW glider flying. :frown:

Yes, Yes & NO (Too :sleep: busy!).

Dear Mr. Chams,

I find your post curious. If I read it correctly, it would seem that you are a glider pilot, you are obviously a member here, and you won't PM Nick to help him out.

It would seem to me that it would have been just as easy to not post at all. This strikes me as a dig.

Respectfully,
Robert Kerr

And I thought I was far from current at 32 years!!!! I guess the various youth organisations are responsable for this! In my case the ATC, although I did a little in my early years of RAF service too.

Whattaya need? I do more fixed wing, but I do skysail on a regular basis. I'm stuck here in Texas for another six months, but once a month or so I fly to Northern and Southern California to tend to business matters. I have a glider to use in Warner Springs, CA that a family member owns.

check it out::bump:

Yeah it was the ATC for me too Calypsos, flying gliders at RAF Ternhill and also Chippies at RAF Shawbury (and other places on annual camps).

Thanks folks for the PM's, I think I have the chap I'm looking for and I hope I've replied to everyone's messages.

Cheers. :engel016::applause:
