OT - Socket 1155 versus 1366

Getting ready to build one last gaming box. Unsure whether to select a lga 1155 or 1366 with a 990x processor.

I don't expect to upgrade the processor in the future. When I finishing building this one it will be my last.

Should I hold off building until next year and go with a 1155 or go ahead and build now using the 1366 architecture?

Only flight sims will be run on the machine.

Thank you for the link. I hadn't seen it. The Asus Rampage III mobo is my 1st choice at this time, but will take a look at the others. Nix the Intel board. Must have a few ounces of gold leads.
