OT: Well, Another TV Show Gets Silly....

I feel the same way P. Loved the first season and then it got cheesy. Still like Adam Baldwin though.:encouragement:

Like a lot of programs - start off with a good idea, then string it out waaaaay past it's use y date so it all gets just too silly....like The Blacklist!

The concept of running a couple of relatively short seasons with a good storyline, first class writers and actors seems to one which 'Hollywood' (along with the usual suspects!) fails to grasp.
Even the small Australian and New Zealand production companies can do their thing alongside the better UK and European operations.
The voracious appetite for 'Never Mind The Quality, Feel The Width' endemic to 'Cable' is the main problem.
"Sharknado' 6 anyone?
:banghead:

Well, just barely past the first week of daily episodes, the latest "Reality TV Show" is thoroughly tanking in the ratings... :dizzy:
