In FSX I cannot access the menu items nor even exit FSX while in full view mode. I have to go to windows mode than I can get to menu items and/or shut down fs?

I think it all started when I shut down Active Sky Advance while FSX was still running? I've reinstall the FSX.cfg from a past save and it still dose its the no menu items or shut down in full mode.

So, now what?

Try putting (or changing) the following in the MAIN section of your fsx.cfg

HideMenuNormal=0
HideMenuFullscreen=0

"1" is hidden, "0" is visible.
Not sure that will sort you out, but it's worth a shot.

EDIT: Failing that delete your fsx.cfg (back it up first, and no not the one in your install folder) and restart FSX. It will rebuild a new one and that might sort you out, though if you have edited it yourself you'll have to re-edit the new one.

You should never migrate a completed config into the sim...Better to build a new one then edit acording to how you saved your last one...

Try placing the Deluxe DVD1 and running a repair...
