Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this but i remember there was alot of people wanting to know how to overclock but didn't know how to through the BIOS, I found an program on one of the other forums talking about Intel Extreme Tuning utility. I had never tried overclocking before and wasn't that confident and his program made it alot easier, It pretty much the BIOS but easier to understand and comes with a stress test built in so you can test while you overclock, some people have had problems but it worked great for me and i recommend it, especially if you are a beginner like me.

Hope this helps

I would urge caution and a lot of reading up before anyone dives in.

A good place to start "Toms" is respectable.

Good advice.
I'd agree 110%!
Best to do small increments and get as much information on hand before starting.
However, it is not as difficult as made out, provided one takes baby steps.
Then end result can be very satisfying.
