Oz And Beyond!

:ipepsi2: Boy! let me tell you, it was sure nice blasting out of Venezuela with the uncertain status of it's leader. Not a bad flight, but the weather did get a little shakey on approach, but shucks, Flight 19 is use to bad weather most of the time. a few snaps, in what order who knows.

Tacos with:ichile: hehe.

Yep, we weren't wasting any time getting out of there. Now that I've got the hang of the otto on the 727, it's a pretty nice aircraft to fly. Anyway, right after we landed in Martinique, I had to leave so I'm a little short on pics from the flight.

After a few technical issues, we took off for Provedenciales Island. Other than my ham fisted buggering up the landing and loosing a wheel in the process, it was a pretty good flight.

(It's pretty neat with the HJG 727 how they got passengers screaming when you prang it up)

:sheep:Just a few photos from last nights flight. Call out the maintenance crew blew two tires on the starborad side on landing, may need some sheet metal work also.

Went to Grand Cayman Island, but botched another landing. Delta is sending me a new aircraft. Hope it lands better than this one has.

Got started just after the main body took to the air, but it was a good flight to Grand Cayman and Roberts International.

Took the L1011 out from Grand Cayman to Cozumel Mexico (MMCZ). I think I could very easily start to like this one. But the next airport in Honduras could change that pretty quickly.

Pics are in reverse order.

Well, that was a nice flight with an "interesting" landing. Got to MHTG and saved the flight 10nm out just in case. Which turned out to be a good idea. I'd bring it in about 130-135 over the fence, touch down near the numbers and it would immediately crash. Tried it about 4 times before I decided that I had enough.

Getting back out of here could be interesting as well...

Hey Willy, any chance it was caused by an object "box" that you kept getting too close to?

Anyway, here are some more. I forgot to check the time setting before we left Cozumel, so I ended up having to do (of course I could have changed the time in-flight but decided to stay with what I had) a night approach using the circle approach required of all Commercial flights into Toncontin Airport. It was interesting, nail biting, tense and rewarding once I touched down and taxied off the active. Phew!

Could have been. The green bar was just saying crash though, not building crash. I've uninstalled the scenery and figure to try it again before we start off tonight.

Costa Rica!
