Then it should be web browser problem. I know some people reported the same problem with the beta for 602. Do you have firefox or some other browser?

P-3c Orion FSX 3.2

I installed the P-3 Orion FSX 3.2 last night. I did add a few paints so far.

I have some issues. I want to ask about two so far.

1). I don't have any smoke effects after I take off. I am using the "I" key to turn the smoke on. I don't have any smoke for some reason?. I do have the cs130_smoke.fx in my effects folder. So how do I get this working?.

2). Can anyone provide here all the shockwave lights settings to replace the ones that are in this package. The wingtip nav lights I can barely see when there on. The beacon light on top of the tail doesn't work at all. I did try the "L" key command to turn on all the lights. Still had the same issues.

I'm just getting started with this airplane etc.

WOW. That was a quick reply. Thanks Morti.

Your entries are now installed. I did also remove the 2's from the cs130_smoke.

I'm firing up my FSX and have a look see. I'll rely with the results.

Morti.

I checked it out.

The lights seem to work, except the one on top of the vertical tail. I used the "L" command switch to turn all the lights one. I didn't see the landing lights come on. When I lowered the flaps one notch. The landing lights came on. When I raised the flaps. The landing lights went out?.

The smoke effect didn't work. Note: I was using the TAZ paint. I switched planes to the VP47. The smoke effects did work, except for #3 engine?. All four engines were running when I took off. There must be some strange things going on here. I wouldn't think the paints I would select, would have much to do with it. Hmmm. Outside of the P-3C Orion 3.2. I did install the P-3B AEW_FSX and the RP-3D_FSX separate packages.

The lights are ok now.

My number 3 engine smoke is there now. The only thing I can think of that may have caused an issue is. I also added the EP-3E/P-3B AEW and the RP_3D packages, and these all have there own acft.cfg, but I didn't install the shockwave lights and proper smoke setup yesterday when I was having the problem. Today I added the lights and smoke. Now My engine three smoke is AOK. I rather dought these packages had anything really to do with the problem.

Anyway I'm good to go. dealing with the lights and smoke on the P-3. I have another situation I want to ask about. I'll start a new topic on that tomorrow.

Thanks Morti and Gray Eagle.

Rather than start a new topic. Since my subject is P-3 related. I figured I would continue here.

I installed the P-3A Aerostar Aerounion last night. One of these is for fire fighting. I've never had any of these types that use the red fire retardant, and I don't know what I need to add and setup so the fire retardant works.

Could anyone provide me with config edits I need, and smoke system files I need to add to this plane?. I don't know either where the fire retardant comes out and what switches operate the fire retardant on and off.

The P-3 as it is now. The fire retardant system doesn't work. I guess there are effects and other things I need to download and add.

Thanks for any feedback.

Thanks for extending the Orion family! The new models looks stunning!

Is it possible to consider a standard B model as well? Some very nice hi vis schemes seen on the bravo during the mid to late cold war years. Just to take of all the fancy new gadgets the Kiwis have put on their old Bravo and it should be good to go :)

Wow KBT, thanks for developing the extra models. Whenever I think of the P-3 I always think of the ASW version, but your release has reminded me of just how adaptable this airframe was for so many different missions.
