This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26742 2Z-D "Kansas Tornado" of the 510th FS/ 405th FG, as flown by Capt. Howard J. Curran. This aircraft was shot down by an Me-109 near Pont a Mousson on 12 September 1944, with Capt. Curran parachuting to safety and returning to his squadron. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paint kit by Martin Catney.
