P-51 A Mustang

Hi everyone:
Just wondering what is the best P-51 A out there with British markings?

This is the one with the birdcage canopy and the non-supercharged Alison engine; had poor performance at higher altitude.

I am looking particularly for "realistic" performance characteristics

I have a couple; one has markings M RU
the other is RM D (or D RM)

both are older models.

thanks for any suggestions!

Hmmm . . .

I think someone made some of those . . .

Try looking under 'Obio" for the "early mustang pack" . . .

The VC is not up to my newer standards but it is functional. Maybe I will update the VC sometime in the future.

thanks

That's just wonderful!
thanks

And it looks like we can do attachments now . . . nice.

Also look under Bismarck13 for some updates he did for the collection to fix some errors with the flaps when viewed from the VC.

Also Kelticheart uploaded a pack with new props, exhaust effects and fixed some paint errors on the British planes...I left off the yellow ID bands on the leading edges of the wings....well, didn't forget to put them on, didn't know they were supposed to have them.

I have been working on a new repaint template for the A models for some time...had it nearly done and lost it when my FAT files got scrambled. I have a back up copy that is about half done...need to get back to that. Totally new panel lines that more correctly match the A model, get the wing lines lined up with the wings more properly.
