• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

P3 Trak IR issue

I've had a repeating problem with Track Ir in P3 and was wondering if anyone else had this problem

Before I start the game I get Track Ir up and running and confirm that it is working.

In P3 I go into a campaign and enter the field before take off, I always confirm that I have the right control profile up and Track Ir works fine thru out the flight.

The problem that comes up is if I finish the flight and go back to the main menu and load up a quick action or back into another campaign flight, the trak IR appears to be disabled. I have the right control profile loaded, but have lost trak Ir

Anyone else having that problem?
 
Check you have the latest TIR software installed Geezer?

Also if you fly 2 seaters F8 brings you into the gunner seat, but is bad key to press as TIR default is F8 to enable/disable. Use shift+F8. or reassign TIR keys.
 
good advice, don't have time right now, but over the weekend I'll see if that is the problem
 
Problem resolved, updated driver did the trick!

Pol- Just a small point -I think you'll find the disable default key for trackir is F9.
F8 is the precision default key, so your advice is still valid . :)
