It was one of at least three RNZAF Corsair with an irate Donald Duck as nose art. The aircraft was lost on 29/8/44 while Flt/Sgt R.L Bayly was strafing southwest of Bougainville.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category P3D / P4D Add-Ons - Warbird repaints

Description: A repaint for the Warbirdsim P-51B Mustang representing 42-106438 in the colors of the Swiss Air Force. Originally WD-U with the 335th FS/4th FG, it suffered a glycol leak over Germany on 19 July 1944 and its pilot, Lt Curtis Simpson managed to land at Ems, Switzerland wher ehe and his aircraft were interned. The aircraft was dismantled by Swiss air force mechanics and transported to Dubendorf, where its engine was repaired. Repainted in Swiss colours, the Mustang returned to the skies on 1-Aug-44 as J900.

Description: A repaint for the Warbirdsim P-51B as 43-12457 in the colors it wore when flying with the 485th FS/370th FG/9th AF in February 1945 as 7F-F. The aircraft was originally assigned to Major Don Beerbower of the 353rd FS/354th FG, an ace with 15.5 aerial kills. The aircraft survived the war and was scrapped in 1946.

Description: This folder contains a repaint for the P-51B/C model for FSX by Warbirdsim. It shows P-51C #43-25045 in the colors of C3-W "My Pal Snookie" as it was flown by Lt. Edward T. Pawlak, who flew 54 missions with the 382nd FS/363rd FG between August 1943 and September 1944, before being transferred to the 405th FG, where he flew an additional 20 missions.
