P3D/P4D screenshots redux...oops!

Much improved TuFun. Did anyone ever make a PBR version of the A-26? Also someone was working on an update of the SEA A-26K model I don't think was ever finished.

Here are screenshots in Prepar3D V4.5 using the Avatar and Screenshot software of my B-17G Take It Easy The noseart is all hand drawn including the logotype to exactly match the real aircraft. There is only one photo unfortunately on line and all of the crew are no longer with us. I was unable to find any second or third generation either. The aircraft markings follow the 91st Bomb Group 323rd Bomb Squadron coloring and markings. the Aircraft code letters and serial are correct.

Which model is the B-17? Tricky trying to get the two halves to match.

This is the A2A WOP III B-17G for Prepar3D V4.5. I used the unofficial paint kit because even though the paint kit is supposed to be included in the download, it wasn't so I was fortunate to find the WOP II paint kit in my old archives from the 91st BG days which works with it. It has ALPHA, BASE and SPEC psd files to use in Adobe Photoshop. I tweaked the alpha files as best as I could to not look like it was "chrome-plated" and it's as good as I can get it. Jan Kees Blom does better than I do with the A2A B-17G repaints he has done which are quite a few over at AVSIM and here in the resources. I am going to do a repaint of the B-17F "MY PRAYER" using the Aeroplane Heaven B-17F because A2A never released an "F" model for FSX/P3D. I bought their B-17F for FS9 which I was able to use in FSX as you can many FS9 models, but the gauges do not work at all in P3D so I didn't bother since AH makes a really nice one and it's free at ORBX to download both an "F" and "G" version for FSX and P3D 4 and 5.

Amen to your quote and you are very welcome, enjoy them. If you would like an exclusive repaint for the AH B-17, I created the B-17F BOMB BOOGIE of the 91st BG 401st BS which I flew for a few years. Originally it was the A2A B-17G but when they never came out with an "F" and AH DID, I redid it for the AH. You are welcome to use it with my "blessing" if you would like to download it. I found it the other day. I would love to see it get some use again. Repaints are always a lot of work even if they are a "Labor of love" for the hobby of flight simming. It is very unique that the cowlings and the windows positions and gun turrets each have a "sweetheart" of the crewman. That was quite a challenge I now remember. Send me a PM and I will give you a download link to it.
