There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Back to the focus of the thread, I still cant believe 4 entire planes are coming into the simulator. Nice.... I was hoping an airliner would have come in. It would be nice to see airline pilots getting something to train with.

The new interior shading is just brilliant. Really makes them look realistic.
Trying to contribute the discussion in a more constructive way than posting jokes on the EULA (my most humble apologies to everyone) I can officially announce that I taking the change of the release of P3Dv2 to update all of my aicrafts. The first in the line is the T-45C Goshawk will receive new, custom (and quite true to NATOPS at least graphically) MFD - so that the package is now independent from FSX Acceleration files (namely the FA-18.dll).
Same thing will happen to the F-14D later on (which will be the chance to integrate the MFDs with the Tacpack, by the way).
T-45C updated release will probably be in a week or two. Main development platform is still FSX, but changes will make it completely compatible with P3Dv1 and P3Dv2 - without additional actions from the user.
Bill, I was just thinking, now you've just about figured out the render to texture feature in Max to get some nice shading on your textures LM provide them in game instead!
