P3D V2 Details/Pricing

Back to the focus of the thread, I still cant believe 4 entire planes are coming into the simulator. Nice.... I was hoping an airliner would have come in. It would be nice to see airline pilots getting something to train with.
Bill

Well Razbam is testing the Metroliner within P3Dv2......if that ain't a small "airliner" :sneakiness: !

Cheers,
Hank

Hey all,

Trying to contribute the discussion in a more constructive way than posting jokes on the EULA (my most humble apologies to everyone) I can officially announce that I taking the change of the release of P3Dv2 to update all of my aicrafts. The first in the line is the T-45C Goshawk will receive new, custom (and quite true to NATOPS at least graphically) MFD - so that the package is now independent from FSX Acceleration files (namely the FA-18.dll).
Same thing will happen to the F-14D later on (which will be the chance to integrate the MFDs with the Tacpack, by the way).
T-45C updated release will probably be in a week or two. Main development platform is still FSX, but changes will make it completely compatible with P3Dv1 and P3Dv2 - without additional actions from the user.

Looking forward to the updates, Dino.

The new interior shading is just brilliant. Really makes them look realistic.

Bill, I was just thinking, now you've just about figured out the render to texture feature in Max to get some nice shading on your textures LM provide them in game instead!

Absolutely looking forward to those updates, great news!

Yes... sigh... :( But I must say, it looks better and 'moves' with the sun instead of being painted on. It will only make the graphics creation of planes go faster for me, so that is also a plus.
