There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

So the version that says it's for P3D isn't compatible with Ver2? I was going to purchase it until I read your post.Just to note that REX4 does not include a weather engine, just textures. In FSX I used a combination of ASE and REX3 so far. I have REX4 now and also bought the latest AS version, ASN. The two of them together work wonders in FSX imho. ASN is supposed to be fully compatible with P3D V2 as well but the link is not yet complete. According to the AS people the license will be valid when this happens. I am looking forward to it as it is supposed to be available very soon.

So how does ASN and REX interact since ASN has no graphics addon? Do you just direct ASN to use the textures supplied with REX or do you have to run REX as well as ASN to get them to co-exist?That is true Ed. They are currently working on and testing the P3Dv2 version. I was holding off too but I finally got it as I like the new features and they specifically state that when the P3D version is out the license will be valid for both sims. I also got the upgrade offer as I own ASE, which does not work in P3D anyway.
